Hall Test

Hall-test is used as a method of research for studying and testing new goods or qualities of already familiar products.

Hall-test is used for solving the following tasks:

  • to make a survey on degree of attractiveness of a given product or its properties.
  • developing the most effective price policy
  • to test variants of product names, conceptions, design, etc.
  • Testing of advertising products and services

The ways of conducting the hall-test can differ, but often a hall-test is held in two stages. On the first stage respondents should test and estimate any products or advertising materials. On the second stage the interviewer questions the respondent for finding out his attitude to the testing product and to the whole group of products and goods.
